The S&P BSE METAL Index was at 29,726.3 (down 0.2%). The index is down 9.0% over the last 30 days. And over the last 1 year, it has gained 25.2%.

Within the BSE Metal Index, the top gainers were HINDALCO (up 1.1%) and JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 0.7%). On the other hand, APL APOLLO TUBES (down 2.0%) and NMDC (down 1.6%) were among the top losers.
