Everest Kanto Cylinder share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 152.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,499.1 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 5.4%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 3.1%).

Thermax (down 1.1%) and Siemens (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Everest Kanto Cylinder has moved up from Rs 120.0 to Rs 152.7, registering a gain of Rs 32.7 (up 27.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 42,734.2 to 71,499.1, registering a gain of 67.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 214.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 149.5%) and Bharat Electronics (up 138.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,096.8 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.2%) and Axis Bank (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,400.9 (down 0.3%). Axis Bank and Bajaj Finance are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,384.8 to 80,096.8, registering a gain of 13,712.0 points (up 20.7%).

Everest Kanto Cylinder Financial Update...

Everest Kanto Cylinder net profit fell 63.8% YoY to Rs 131 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 363 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.4% to Rs 3,258 million during the period as against Rs 2,979 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Everest Kanto Cylinder reported 71.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 759 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,645 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 25.0% to Rs 12,745 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Everest Kanto Cylinder, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 17.5.
