Puravankara share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 407.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,329.8 .

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (down 4.3%) and Godrej Properties (down 1.3%).

Sobha (up 6.5%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 5.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Puravankara has moved up from Rs 100.6 to Rs 407.5, registering a gain of Rs 306.9 (up 305.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,299.6 to 8,329.8, registering a gain of 93.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 249.4%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 236.1%) and Phoenix Mill (up 122.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,171.2 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 2.7%) and Bajaj Finance (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,375.4 (down 0.4%). Hindustan Unilever and Tata Consumer Products are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,384.8 to 80,171.2, registering a gain of 13,786.4 points (up 20.8%).

Puravankara Financial Update...

Puravankara net profit grew 22.6% YoY to Rs -53 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 69 million a year ago. Net sales rose 136.5% to Rs 9,200 million during the period as against Rs 3,890 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Puravankara reported 54.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 665 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,476 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 29.4% to Rs 12,358 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Puravankara, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 196.6.
