QUESS CORP Gains 6%; BSE IT Index Up 0.5%

QUESS CORP share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 650.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 40,812.9 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Birlasoft (up 2.3%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.8%).

INTELLECT DESIGN (down 2.9%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 2.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, QUESS CORP has moved up from Rs 443.8 to Rs 650.7, registering a gain of Rs 206.9 (up 46.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 31,740.5 to 40,812.9, registering a gain of 28.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 177.4%), PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 86.7%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 83.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,368.3 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (down 3.6%) and Bajaj Finance (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,494.4 (down 0.1%). L&T and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,097.4 to 80,368.3, registering a gain of 13,270.9 points (up 19.8%).

QUESS CORP Financial Update...

QUESS CORP net profit grew 227.0% YoY to Rs 978 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 299 million a year ago. Net sales rose 10.6% to Rs 49,098 million during the period as against Rs 44,402 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, QUESS CORP reported 11.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 2,229 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,510 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 25.3% to Rs 171,584 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of QUESS CORP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 34.4.
