GENESYS INTL. share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 641.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 40,707.8 (up 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are Firstsource Solutions (down 3.5%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (down 1.6%).

LTIMINDTREE (up 3.6%) and Birlasoft (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GENESYS INTL. has moved up from Rs 324.6 to Rs 641.0, registering a gain of Rs 316.5 (up 97.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 31,378.2 to 40,707.8, registering a gain of 29.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 178.4%), PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 97.8%) and Birlasoft (up 95.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,343.5 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 2.9%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,779.4 (up 0.7%). LTIMINDTREE and ONGC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,589.9 to 81,343.5, registering a gain of 14,753.5 points (up 22.2%).

GENESYS INTL. Financial Update...

GENESYS INTL. net profit grew 636.5% YoY to Rs 148 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 20 million a year ago. Net sales rose 52.7% to Rs 712 million during the period as against Rs 466 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GENESYS INTL. reported 137.6% increase in net profit to Rs 149 million compared to net loss of Rs 397 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 51.4% to Rs 1,811 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GENESYS INTL., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 117.4.
