LTIMINDTREE Gains 3%; BSE IT Index Up 0.7%

LTIMINDTREE share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 5,734.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 40,251.1 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are TCS (up 2.4%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.6%).

Firstsource Solutions (down 2.7%) and L&T TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, LTIMINDTREE has moved up from Rs 5,134.0 to Rs 5,734.1, registering a gain of Rs 600.2 (up 11.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 31,378.2 to 40,251.1, registering a gain of 28.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 176.9%), PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 94.5%) and Birlasoft (up 90.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,680.9 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.4%) and Ultratech Cement (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,588.3 (down 0.1%). Bajaj Auto and Hero Motocorp are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,589.9 to 80,680.9, registering a gain of 14,091.0 points (up 21.2%).

LTIMINDTREE Financial Update...

LTIMINDTREE net profit fell 1.5% YoY to Rs 11,351 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 11,523 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.1% to Rs 91,426 million during the period as against Rs 87,021 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, LTIMINDTREE reported 4.0% increase in net profit to Rs 45,846 million compared to net profit of Rs 44,103 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.0% to Rs 355,170 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LTIMINDTREE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 37.2.
