APAR INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 8,743.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,889.2 (down 2.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 5.6%) and Siemens (down 4.9%).

SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.4%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 0.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, APAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 3,500.0 to Rs 8,743.7, registering a gain of Rs 5,243.7 (up 149.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 41,426.7 to 72,889.2, registering a gain of 75.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 234.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 163.5%) and Bharat Electronics (up 147.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,792.6 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (up 1.2%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,627.5 (up 0.1%). ONGC and LTIMINDTREE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,589.9 to 80,792.6, registering a gain of 14,202.7 points (up 21.3%).

APAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

APAR INDUSTRIES net profit fell 2.7% YoY to Rs 2,362 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,428 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.1% to Rs 44,551 million during the period as against Rs 40,843 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, APAR INDUSTRIES reported 148.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6,377 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,567 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 54.0% to Rs 143,522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of APAR INDUSTRIES , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.5.
