IRB Infra Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.0%

IRB Infra share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 70.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,739.2 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Brigade Enterprises (up 2.7%) and Sobha (up 2.4%).

Over the last one year, IRB Infra has moved up from Rs 25.9 to Rs 70.8, registering a gain of Rs 44.9 (up 173.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,228.0 to 8,739.2, registering a gain of 106.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 254.7%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 204.5%) and Phoenix Mill (up 157.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,774.2 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 1.0%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,622.5 (up 0.2%). BPCL and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,393.9 to 80,774.2, registering a gain of 15,380.3 points (up 23.5%).

IRB Infra Financial Update...

IRB Infra net profit grew 94.2% YoY to Rs 3,242 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,669 million a year ago. Net sales rose 27.2% to Rs 20,612 million during the period as against Rs 16,200 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, IRB Infra reported 99.2% increase in net profit to Rs 7,200 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,614 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 10.3% to Rs 64,016 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 46.5.
