HILTON METAL share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 81.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 75,156.6 (down 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (down 1.9%) and Thermax (down 1.4%).

Carborundum Universal (up 0.2%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HILTON METAL has moved down from Rs 169.9 to Rs 81.8, registering a loss of Rs 88.1 (down 51.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,584.0 to 75,156.6, registering a gain of 85.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 257.4%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 191.6%) and Bharat Electronics (up 171.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,058.7 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 5.7%) and SBI (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,333.2 (down 0.4%). M&M and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 80,058.7, registering a gain of 14,714.5 points (up 22.5%).

HILTON METAL Financial Update...

HILTON METAL net profit fell 77.9% YoY to Rs 6 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 25 million a year ago. Net sales rose 10.3% to Rs 338 million during the period as against Rs 307 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HILTON METAL reported 232.5% increase in net profit to Rs 59 million compared to net profit of Rs 18 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 24.6% to Rs 1,048 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HILTON METAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 25.7.
