Honda Power Products share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 4,134.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,956.2 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 3.6%) and Bajaj Electricals (up 2.9%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 1.7%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Honda Power Products has moved up from Rs 2,184.1 to Rs 4,134.7, registering a gain of Rs 1,950.7 (up 89.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,765.2 to 58,956.2, registering a gain of 37.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 190.4%), Blue Star (up 110.0%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 99.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,049.7 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.7%) and HCl Tech. (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,304.7 (up 0.1%). Tata Motors and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,049.7, registering a gain of 14,844.6 points (up 22.8%).

Honda Power Products Financial Update...

Honda Power Products net profit grew 171.9% YoY to Rs 158 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 58 million a year ago. Net sales declined 26.2% to Rs 2,312 million during the period as against Rs 3,133 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Honda Power Products reported 14.2% increase in net profit to Rs 851 million compared to net profit of Rs 745 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 7.8% to Rs 12,463 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Honda Power Products, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 45.5.
