Everest Kanto Cylinder share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 139.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 74,147.1 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 1.4%) and BHEL (up 1.3%).

V GUARD IND. (down 1.3%) and Carborundum Universal (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Everest Kanto Cylinder has moved up from Rs 122.0 to Rs 139.1, registering a gain of Rs 17.2 (up 14.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,540.3 to 74,147.1, registering a gain of 82.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 257.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 191.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 154.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,335.2 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 1.9%) and HCl Tech. (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,388.5 (up 0.4%). ICICI Bank and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,335.2, registering a gain of 15,130.1 points (up 23.2%).

Everest Kanto Cylinder Financial Update...

Everest Kanto Cylinder net profit fell 63.8% YoY to Rs 131 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 363 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.4% to Rs 3,258 million during the period as against Rs 2,979 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Everest Kanto Cylinder reported 71.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 759 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,645 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 25.0% to Rs 12,745 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Everest Kanto Cylinder, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 16.0.
