PERSISTENT SYSTEMS share price has zoomed 2% and is presently trading at Rs 4,596.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 38,112.7 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 3.9%) and Mphasis (up 2.6%).

ROUTE MOBILE (down 2.9%) and TCS (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS has moved up from Rs 2,424.9 to Rs 4,596.0, registering a gain of Rs 2,171.1 (up 89.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,747.6 to 38,112.7, registering a gain of 28.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 173.5%), Birlasoft (up 100.9%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES (up 93.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,010.5 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.6%) and Kotak Bank (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,293.4 (up 0.7%). Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,010.5, registering a gain of 14,805.4 points (up 22.7%).

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS Financial Update...

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS net profit grew 25.4% YoY to Rs 3,153 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,515 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.9% to Rs 25,905 million during the period as against Rs 22,545 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS reported 18.7% increase in net profit to Rs 10,935 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,211 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.6% to Rs 98,216 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 64.7.
