BOM.OXYGEN Plunges 9%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Down 0.4%

BOM.OXYGEN share price has plunged 9% and is presently trading at Rs 29,000.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 29,537.3 (down 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are Petronet LNG (down 1.5%) and Reliance Ind. (down 1.3%).

BPCL (up 0.3%) and ONGC (up 0.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BOM.OXYGEN has moved up from Rs 11,446.7 to Rs 29,000.1, registering a gain of Rs 17,553.4 (up 153.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,625.6 to 29,537.3, registering a gain of 58.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 107.9%), IOC (up 76.1%) and HPCL (up 73.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,880.3 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 3.1%) and Axis Bank (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,261.5 (up 0.6%). HDFC Bank and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 79,880.3, registering a gain of 14,675.3 points (up 22.5%).

BOM.OXYGEN Financial Update...

BOM.OXYGEN net profit grew 501.8% YoY to Rs 87 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 22 million a year ago. Net sales rose 295.6% to Rs 127 million during the period as against Rs -65 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BOM.OXYGEN reported 82.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 49 million compared to net profit of Rs 281 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 92.1% to Rs 26 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BOM.OXYGEN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 7.6.
