NILE. share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 1,520.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,290.6 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (up 1.8%) and SAIL (up 0.9%).

Hindalco (down 1.2%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NILE. has moved up from Rs 749.9 to Rs 1,520.0, registering a gain of Rs 770.2 (up 102.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 20,790.0 to 33,290.6, registering a gain of 60.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were NMDC (up 131.4%), Hindustan Zinc (up 111.0%) and Coal India (up 108.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 3.1%) and Axis Bank (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,265.5 (up 0.6%). HDFC Bank and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 79,882.2, registering a gain of 14,677.2 points (up 22.5%).

NILE. Financial Update...

NILE. net profit fell 29.0% YoY to Rs 61 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales declined 19.8% to Rs 1,741 million during the period as against Rs 2,171 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NILE. reported 5.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 226 million compared to net profit of Rs 238 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.8% to Rs 8,063 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NILE., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 14.6.
