SHEELA FOAM share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 990.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 20,699.5 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) and Zydus Wellness (up 2.7%).

Balrampur Chini (down 0.8%) and HATSUN AGRO PRODUCTS (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHEELA FOAM has moved down from Rs 1,194.5 to Rs 990.0, registering a loss of Rs 204.5 (down 17.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,894.7 to 20,699.5, registering a gain of 9.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 151.5%), JYOTHY LABS (up 116.4%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 105.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,046.9 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 2.9%) and Axis Bank (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,299.7 (up 0.7%). HDFC Bank and Axis Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,046.9, registering a gain of 14,841.8 points (up 22.8%).

SHEELA FOAM Financial Update...

SHEELA FOAM net profit grew 56.4% YoY to Rs 682 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 436 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.9% to Rs 8,452 million during the period as against Rs 7,290 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SHEELA FOAM reported 3.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,945 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,008 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 3.8% to Rs 29,823 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHEELA FOAM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 55.3.
