STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 724.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,398.4 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 3.1%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 2.7%).

SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.0%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR has moved up from Rs 290.1 to Rs 724.3, registering a gain of Rs 434.2 (up 149.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,540.3 to 73,398.4, registering a gain of 81.1% during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 80,046.9 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 2.9%) and Axis Bank (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,299.7 (up 0.7%). HDFC Bank and Axis Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,046.9, registering a gain of 14,841.8 points (up 22.8%).

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR Financial Update...

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR net profit grew 100.3% YoY to Rs 14 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 4,211 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1232.1% to Rs 11,780 million during the period as against Rs 884 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR reported 28.3% decrease in net profit to Rs -11,750 million compared to net loss of Rs 9,158 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 61.2% to Rs 20,150 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -80.1.
