BPL LIMITED share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 133.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,738.2 (down 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 2.9%) and Voltas (down 1.9%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 0.2%) and Bajaj Electricals (up 0.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BPL LIMITED has moved up from Rs 59.3 to Rs 133.5, registering a gain of Rs 74.2 (up 125.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,666.4 to 58,738.2, registering a gain of 37.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 183.9%), Blue Star (up 107.6%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 104.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,361.0 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 3.8%) and Indusind Bank (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,089.9 (down 0.2%). Kotak Bank and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,361.0, registering a gain of 15,445.6 points (up 24.2%).

BPL LIMITED Financial Update...

BPL LIMITED net profit fell 79.2% YoY to Rs 3 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.5% to Rs 162 million during the period as against Rs 153 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BPL LIMITED reported 60.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 51 million compared to net profit of Rs 129 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 36.5% to Rs 522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BPL LIMITED, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 46.4.
