Voltas share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,722.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 63,880.9 (up 2.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 6.0%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (up 4.1%).

RAJESH EXPORTS (down 1.4%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Voltas has moved up from Rs 820.4 to Rs 1,722.9, registering a gain of Rs 902.5 (up 110.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,415.4 to 63,880.9, registering a gain of 37.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 216.8%), Voltas (up 110.0%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 93.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,248.1 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.9%) and JSW Steel (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,275.3 (up 0.6%). Ultratech Cement and APOLLO HOSPITALS are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,248.1, registering a gain of 14,073.9 points (up 21.3%).

Voltas Financial Update...

Voltas net profit grew 139.9% YoY to Rs 1,651 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 688 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.2% to Rs 26,191 million during the period as against Rs 22,928 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Voltas reported 82.1% increase in net profit to Rs 2,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,362 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 31.4% to Rs 124,812 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Voltas, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 83.0.
