OM METALS INFRA Gains 10%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.2%

OM METALS INFRA share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 146.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,552.1 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Coal India (up 3.2%) and Jindal Steel (up 2.4%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 2.7%) and Hindustan Zinc (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, OM METALS INFRA has moved up from Rs 44.3 to Rs 146.5, registering a gain of Rs 102.2 (up 230.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 20,054.0 to 33,552.1, registering a gain of 67.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were NMDC (up 140.1%), Hindustan Zinc (up 130.2%) and Coal India (up 114.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 76,916.0 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 2.0%) and Bajaj Finance (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,418.9 (up 0.7%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,916.0, registering a gain of 14,191.3 points (up 22.6%).

OM METALS INFRA Financial Update...

OM METALS INFRA net profit fell 59.0% YoY to Rs 32 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 78 million a year ago. Net sales declined 14.7% to Rs 2,957 million during the period as against Rs 3,467 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, OM METALS INFRA reported 53.3% increase in net profit to Rs 130 million compared to net profit of Rs 85 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 155.3% to Rs 7,992 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of OM METALS INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.0.
