TEXMACO RAIL Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.2%

TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 213.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,356.5 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 10.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 3.3%).

AIA Engineering (down 0.9%) and Thermax (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 151.1 to Rs 213.6, registering a gain of Rs 62.6 (up 41.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,868.6 to 70,356.5, registering a gain of 44.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 117.6%), Siemens (up 103.8%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 95.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,236.3 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 6.6%) and NTPC (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,274.1 (up 0.3%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,236.3, registering a gain of 14,062.1 points (up 21.3%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 233.8% YoY to Rs 674 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 202 million a year ago. Net sales rose 67.2% to Rs 13,459 million during the period as against Rs 8,050 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TEXMACO RAIL reported 734.0% increase in net profit to Rs 962 million compared to net profit of Rs 115 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 56.1% to Rs 35,029 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 52.0.
