BOMBAY WIRE ROPES share price has plunged 9% and is presently trading at Rs 66.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,502.5 (up 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Vedanta (down 0.5%) and Jindal Steel (down 0.2%).

Coal India (up 1.6%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 0.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BOMBAY WIRE ROPES has moved up from Rs 36.1 to Rs 66.6, registering a gain of Rs 30.5 (up 84.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 6.9%) and NTPC (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,324.6 (up 0.5%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,380.1, registering a gain of 14,205.9 points (up 21.5%).

BOMBAY WIRE ROPES net profit grew 4.2% YoY to Rs -1 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales declined 100.0% to Rs 0 million during the period as against Rs 0 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, BOMBAY WIRE ROPES reported 5.7% increase in net profit to Rs -3 million compared to net loss of Rs 3 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 100.0% to Rs 0 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BOMBAY WIRE ROPES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -99.3.
