NCC Gains 3%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.7%

NCC share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 331.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,662.0 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Sobha (up 2.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 1.7%).

SUNTECK REALTY (down 0.2%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 120.5 to Rs 331.5, registering a gain of Rs 211.1 (up 175.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,140.6 to 8,662.0, registering a gain of 109.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 279.1%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 222.7%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 152.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,613.8 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (up 1.1%) and TCS (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,144.9 . ONGC and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,613.8, registering a gain of 15,698.3 points (up 24.6%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 20.9% YoY to Rs 2,383 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.0% to Rs 64,849 million during the period as against Rs 49,490 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NCC reported 30.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,462 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,940 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 39.6% to Rs 155,534 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 28.3.
