GMR POWER & URBAN share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 115.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,927.4 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Lakshmi Machine (up 3.7%) and AIA Engineering (up 3.5%).

GRINDWELL NORTON (down 1.7%) and V GUARD IND. (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GMR POWER & URBAN has moved up from Rs 41.9 to Rs 115.5, registering a gain of Rs 73.6 (up 175.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,868.6 to 69,927.4, registering a gain of 43.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 111.5%), Siemens (up 104.1%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 91.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,121.0 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.6%) and Infosys (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,204.8 . Coal India and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,121.0, registering a gain of 13,946.8 points (up 21.1%).

GMR POWER & URBAN Financial Update...

GMR POWER & URBAN net profit grew 315.1% YoY to Rs 2,346 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,090 million a year ago. Net sales rose 120.6% to Rs 13,841 million during the period as against Rs 6,275 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GMR POWER & URBAN reported 109.5% decrease in net profit to Rs -1,112 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,710 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 18.6% to Rs 44,890 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR POWER & URBAN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.2.
