KIRLOSKAR BROS. Gains 10%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.3%

KIRLOSKAR BROS. share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 2,001.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,688.4 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 4.2%) and Honeywell Automation (up 3.5%).

GMR Infra (down 1.6%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KIRLOSKAR BROS. has moved up from Rs 588.3 to Rs 2,001.3, registering a gain of Rs 1,413.0 (up 240.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,203.6 to 70,688.4, registering a gain of 80.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 2.0%) and Bajaj Finance (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,418.9 (up 0.7%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,916.0, registering a gain of 14,191.3 points (up 22.6%).

KIRLOSKAR BROS. Financial Update...

KIRLOSKAR BROS. net profit grew 57.3% YoY to Rs 1,427 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 907 million a year ago. Net sales rose 8.8% to Rs 12,238 million during the period as against Rs 11,246 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KIRLOSKAR BROS. reported 176.0% increase in net profit to Rs 2,251 million compared to net profit of Rs 815 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 22.0% to Rs 37,302 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KIRLOSKAR BROS., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 46.8.
