SHILCHAR ELE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 6,087.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,066.0 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GRINDWELL NORTON (up 1.6%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.5%).

Thermax (down 0.7%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHILCHAR ELE has moved up from Rs 962.6 to Rs 6,087.1, registering a gain of Rs 5,124.5 (up 532.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,035.1 to 73,066.0, registering a gain of 82.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (up 1.3%) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,176.0 (up 0.1%). Wipro and ONGC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,643.8, registering a gain of 15,728.3 points (up 24.6%).

SHILCHAR ELE Financial Update...

SHILCHAR ELE net profit grew 53.7% YoY to Rs 250 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 163 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.0% to Rs 1,054 million during the period as against Rs 950 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SHILCHAR ELE reported 207.1% increase in net profit to Rs 431 million compared to net profit of Rs 140 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 55.5% to Rs 2,802 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHILCHAR ELE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.5.
