SHARDA MOTOR share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,039.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 52,998.2 (down 1.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA (up 2.1%) and Balkrishna Ind (up 0.8%).

Bajaj Auto (down 3.1%) and M&M (down 2.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHARDA MOTOR has moved up from Rs 1,283.2 to Rs 2,039.0, registering a gain of Rs 755.9 (up 58.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 38,655.8 to 52,998.2, registering a gain of 37.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were M&M (up 93.4%), Motherson Sumi (up 89.5%) and Cummins India (up 89.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,846.6 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.3%) and Ultratech Cement (down 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,148.1 (down 0.3%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 79,846.6, registering a gain of 13,823.3 points (up 20.9%).

SHARDA MOTOR Financial Update...

SHARDA MOTOR net profit fell 0.1% YoY to Rs 789 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 790 million a year ago. Net sales declined 6.7% to Rs 7,113 million during the period as against Rs 7,627 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SHARDA MOTOR reported 43.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,996 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,083 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 4.0% to Rs 28,093 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHARDA MOTOR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.5.
