Hind.Oil Exp share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 195.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 26,505.8 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are HPCL (up 2.4%) and GUJARAT GAS (up 0.5%).

ADANI TOTAL GAS (down 1.3%) and GAIL (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Hind.Oil Exp has moved up from Rs 162.0 to Rs 195.7, registering a gain of Rs 33.7 (up 20.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,363.5 to 26,505.8, registering a gain of 36.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 89.6%), Petronet LNG (up 69.5%) and GAIL (up 59.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,012.8 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 2.3%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,201.3 (down 0.1%). Ultratech Cement and Adani Enterprises are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 80,012.8, registering a gain of 13,989.5 points (up 21.2%).

Hind.Oil Exp Financial Update...

Hind.Oil Exp net profit fell 76.0% YoY to Rs 108 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 451 million a year ago. Net sales declined 16.0% to Rs 948 million during the period as against Rs 1,128 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Hind.Oil Exp reported 16.7% increase in net profit to Rs 2,264 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,940 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.0% to Rs 7,491 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Hind.Oil Exp, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.3.
