NCC Gains 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.5%

NCC share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 299.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,051.8 (up 2.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 4.4%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 3.8%).

Sobha (down 1.1%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 168.6 to Rs 299.5, registering a gain of Rs 130.9 (up 77.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,535.1 to 8,051.8, registering a gain of 45.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 88.8%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 87.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 61.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,905.8 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 3.9%) and SBI (up 3.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,194.3 (up 1.2%). ONGC and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,930.8 to 79,905.8, registering a gain of 13,975.1 points (up 21.2%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 105.2% YoY to Rs 1,745 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 851 million a year ago. Net sales rose 10.1% to Rs 51,960 million during the period as against Rs 47,196 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NCC reported 14.6% increase in net profit to Rs 7,404 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,462 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.0% to Rs 208,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.7.
