IRB Infra Gains 7%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.7%

IRB Infra share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 51.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,067.1 (up 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Godrej Properties (up 4.6%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 3.7%).

Sobha is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IRB Infra has moved up from Rs 37.1 to Rs 51.0, registering a gain of Rs 13.9 (up 37.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,535.1 to 8,067.1, registering a gain of 45.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 90.8%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 85.0%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 62.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,414.4 (up 1.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 3.7%) and M&M (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,287.0 (up 1.6%). Bharat Electronics and Shriram Transport are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,930.8 to 80,414.4, registering a gain of 14,483.6 points (up 22.0%).

IRB Infra Financial Update...

IRB Infra net profit grew 7.3% YoY to Rs 1,836 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,710 million a year ago. Net sales declined 9.1% to Rs 15,858 million during the period as against Rs 17,450 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, IRB Infra reported 15.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,058 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,200 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 15.7% to Rs 74,090 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.8.
