Godrej Properties Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.7%

Godrej Properties share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2,839.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,835.8 (up 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Sobha (up 5.2%) and DLF (up 4.1%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 1.2%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Godrej Properties has moved up from Rs 1,849.9 to Rs 2,839.0, registering a gain of Rs 989.1 (up 53.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,472.1 to 7,835.8, registering a gain of 43.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 86.9%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 82.7%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 63.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,295.2 (up 1.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 3.8%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,729.7 (up 1.6%). SBI and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 78,295.2, registering a gain of 12,640.1 points (up 19.3%).

Godrej Properties Financial Update...

Godrej Properties net profit grew 217.1% YoY to Rs 3,370 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,063 million a year ago. Net sales rose 218.7% to Rs 10,932 million during the period as against Rs 3,430 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Godrej Properties reported 20.4% increase in net profit to Rs 7,471 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,206 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.8% to Rs 30,356 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Godrej Properties, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 54.6.
