KIRLOSKAR OIL share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,057.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 65,881.4 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 18.6%) and Thermax (down 5.7%).

ABB (up 1.2%) and BHEL (up 0.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, KIRLOSKAR OIL has moved up from Rs 541.1 to Rs 1,057.8, registering a gain of Rs 516.7 (up 95.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,904.9 to 65,881.4, registering a gain of 34.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 91.5%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 85.4%) and Siemens (up 85.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,200.3 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 13.5%) and NTPC (down 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,349.4 (down 0.7%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,200.3, registering a gain of 11,545.2 points (up 17.6%).

KIRLOSKAR OIL Financial Update...

KIRLOSKAR OIL net profit grew 59.4% YoY to Rs 1,249 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 784 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.0% to Rs 15,003 million during the period as against Rs 13,048 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, KIRLOSKAR OIL reported 32.6% increase in net profit to Rs 4,397 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,317 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.4% to Rs 58,983 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KIRLOSKAR OIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.8.
