PENNAR INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 197.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 29,726.6 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (up 1.2%) and Jindal Steel (up 0.7%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 2.2%) and NMDC (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PENNAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 121.2 to Rs 197.2, registering a gain of Rs 76.0 (up 62.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,749.1 to 29,726.6, registering a gain of 25.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 84.7%), Hindustan Zinc (up 59.5%) and Jindal Steel (up 34.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,172.4 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 13.4%) and NTPC (down 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,349.4 (down 0.7%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,172.4, registering a gain of 11,517.3 points (up 17.5%).

PENNAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

PENNAR INDUSTRIES net profit grew 20.2% YoY to Rs 269 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 224 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.2% to Rs 7,476 million during the period as against Rs 8,141 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, PENNAR INDUSTRIES reported 30.4% increase in net profit to Rs 984 million compared to net profit of Rs 754 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 8.2% to Rs 31,306 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PENNAR INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 24.8.
