Jyoti Structure Plunges 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 1.1%

Jyoti Structure share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 29.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 65,599.7 (down 1.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 18.8%) and GMR Infra (down 7.9%).

Carborundum Universal (up 1.8%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Jyoti Structure has moved up from Rs 14.7 to Rs 29.2, registering a gain of Rs 14.5 (up 98.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,904.9 to 65,599.7, registering a gain of 34.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 89.8%), Siemens (up 85.1%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 84.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,056.3 (down 0.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 20.0%) and SBI (down 4.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,333.8 (down 0.8%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,056.3, registering a gain of 11,401.2 points (up 17.4%).

Jyoti Structure Financial Update...

Jyoti Structure net profit fell 36.9% YoY to Rs 71 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 112 million a year ago. Net sales rose 32.0% to Rs 1,075 million during the period as against Rs 815 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Jyoti Structure reported 808.6% increase in net profit to Rs 289 million compared to net loss of Rs 41 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 96.9% to Rs 4,514 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jyoti Structure, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 96.1.
