MTAR TECHNOLOGIES share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 1,742.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 67,026.5 (up 1.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SKF India (up 6.7%) and V GUARD IND. (up 6.2%).

Thermax (down 3.4%) and Carborundum Universal (down 3.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES has moved down from Rs 2,209.5 to Rs 1,742.7, registering a loss of Rs 466.8 (down 21.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,474.9 to 67,026.5, registering a gain of 38.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 97.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 96.6%) and Siemens (up 91.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,202.1 (up 1.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 4.6%) and Tech Mahindra (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,707.4 (up 1.1%). M&M and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,675.9 to 78,202.1, registering a gain of 12,526.2 points (up 19.1%).

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES Financial Update...

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES net profit fell 8.2% YoY to Rs 188 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 205 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.0% to Rs 1,902 million during the period as against Rs 1,668 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES reported 45.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 561 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,034 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 1.2% to Rs 5,808 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MTAR TECHNOLOGIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 139.2.
