Prozone Capital share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 29.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,605.9 (up 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 6.2%) and SUNTECK REALTY (down 4.5%).

Godrej Properties (up 1.8%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Prozone Capital has moved up from Rs 27.0 to Rs 29.8, registering a gain of Rs 2.8 (up 10.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,070.4 to 8,605.9, registering a gain of 111.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 296.6%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 221.5%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 145.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,245.0 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 5.3%) and NTPC (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,036.1 (up 0.7%). Ultratech Cement and LTIMINDTREE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 79,245.0, registering a gain of 16,275.0 points (up 25.8%).

Prozone Capital Financial Update...

Prozone Capital net profit fell 333.2% YoY to Rs -134 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 57 million a year ago. Net sales declined 7.3% to Rs 516 million during the period as against Rs 557 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Prozone Capital reported 2682.6% increase in net profit to Rs 383 million compared to net loss of Rs 15 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 85.5% to Rs 1,732 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Prozone Capital, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 188.2.
