Blue Star share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,823.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 61,793.6 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 1.1%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 0.5%).

Voltas (up 1.5%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Blue Star has moved up from Rs 967.6 to Rs 1,823.9, registering a gain of Rs 856.4 (up 88.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,127.4 to 61,793.6, registering a gain of 36.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 198.7%), Voltas (up 113.1%) and Blue Star (up 88.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (down 0.7%) and ICICI Bank (down 0.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,397.1 (down 0.4%). Hindalco and Adani Enterprises are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,958.7 to 80,345.2, registering a gain of 15,386.5 points (up 23.7%).

Blue Star Financial Update...

Blue Star net profit grew 36.2% YoY to Rs 964 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 707 million a year ago. Net sales rose 20.4% to Rs 22,760 million during the period as against Rs 18,904 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Blue Star reported 3.4% increase in net profit to Rs 4,143 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,007 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 21.4% to Rs 96,854 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Blue Star, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 71.5.
