MISHRA DHATU NIGAM share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 347.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,130.6 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are SAIL (up 4.4%) and NMDC (up 2.5%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 8.1%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MISHRA DHATU NIGAM has moved down from Rs 403.5 to Rs 347.4, registering a loss of Rs 56.1 (down 13.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,728.7 to 32,130.6, registering a gain of 41.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 103.3%), Hindustan Zinc (up 73.5%) and Jindal Steel (up 52.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,377.3 (up 1.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 4.2%) and Infosys (up 4.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,490.0 (up 1.1%). Bharat Electronics and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,958.7 to 80,377.3, registering a gain of 15,418.6 points (up 23.7%).

MISHRA DHATU NIGAM Financial Update...

MISHRA DHATU NIGAM net profit fell 72.4% YoY to Rs 51 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 185 million a year ago. Net sales declined 12.9% to Rs 1,635 million during the period as against Rs 1,877 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MISHRA DHATU NIGAM reported 41.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 918 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,563 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 23.0% to Rs 10,727 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MISHRA DHATU NIGAM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 83.6.
