SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 873.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,575.8 (up 2.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are JSW Steel (up 3.6%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 3.6%).

Coal India (down 2.1%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY has moved up from Rs 435.3 to Rs 873.6, registering a gain of Rs 438.3 (up 100.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,916.4 to 31,575.8, registering a gain of 44.1% during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,164.1 (up 0.7%). JSW Steel and Hindalco are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,591.3 to 79,305.7, registering a gain of 15,714.4 points (up 24.7%).

SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY Financial Update...

SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY net profit grew 36.8% YoY to Rs 2,761 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,019 million a year ago. Net sales rose 8.4% to Rs 36,116 million during the period as against Rs 33,330 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY reported 22.0% increase in net profit to Rs 10,290 million compared to net profit of Rs 8,435 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 4.2% to Rs 131,952 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.1.
