Jyoti Structure Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 2.1%

Jyoti Structure share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 39.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,266.8 (down 2.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 2.7%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 2.3%).

BHEL (down 4.3%) and GMR Infra (down 4.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Jyoti Structure has moved up from Rs 11.3 to Rs 39.9, registering a gain of Rs 28.7 (up 254.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,784.4 to 68,266.8, registering a gain of 49.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 131.7%), Bharat Electronics (up 111.6%) and Siemens (up 107.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,479.9 (down 1.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 4.0%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,897.6 (down 1.7%). Hero Motocorp and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 78,479.9, registering a gain of 14,604.9 points (up 22.9%).

Jyoti Structure Financial Update...

Jyoti Structure net profit grew 107.2% YoY to Rs 51 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 25 million a year ago. Net sales declined 52.3% to Rs 883 million during the period as against Rs 1,852 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Jyoti Structure reported 808.6% increase in net profit to Rs 289 million compared to net loss of Rs 41 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 96.9% to Rs 4,514 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jyoti Structure, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 114.2.
