CAPLIN POINT share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,451.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 36,804.4 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 6.4%) and MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (up 5.0%).

ALEMBIC PHARMA (down 1.9%) and KIMS (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CAPLIN POINT has moved up from Rs 795.8 to Rs 1,451.7, registering a gain of Rs 655.9 (up 82.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,266.1 to 36,804.4, registering a gain of 45.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Glenmark Pharma (up 90.0%), Cadila Healthcare (up 89.9%) and GSK Pharma (up 83.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 2.8%) and JSW Steel (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and M&M.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,919.1 (up 0.2%). Ultratech Cement and JSW Steel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,895.0, registering a gain of 15,925.0 points (up 25.3%).

CAPLIN POINT Financial Update...

CAPLIN POINT net profit grew 19.8% YoY to Rs 1,212 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,012 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.4% to Rs 4,532 million during the period as against Rs 3,893 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, CAPLIN POINT reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 3,770 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,085 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 15.5% to Rs 14,667 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CAPLIN POINT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.9.
