HINDUSTAN MOTORS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 25.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 53,283.7 (down 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO index today are Hero Motocorp (down 5.5%) and Bajaj Auto (down 5.4%).

M&M (up 2.5%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN MOTORS has moved up from Rs 15.7 to Rs 25.9, registering a gain of Rs 10.2 (up 64.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 36,172.0 to 53,283.7, registering a gain of 47.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Cummins India (up 107.2%), Motherson Sumi (up 99.2%) and M&M (up 96.7%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,480.3 (down 1.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 3.9%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,897.6 (down 1.7%). Hero Motocorp and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 78,480.3, registering a gain of 14,605.4 points (up 22.9%).

HINDUSTAN MOTORS Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN MOTORS net profit grew 908.0% YoY to Rs 81 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 10 million a year ago. Net sales rose 100.0% to Rs 9 million during the period as against Rs 0 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HINDUSTAN MOTORS reported 56400.4% increase in net profit to Rs 254 million compared to net profit of Rs 0 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 100.0% to Rs 32 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN MOTORS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.7.
