Indiabulls Infra Plunges 5%; BSE POWER Index Down 1.6%

Indiabulls Infra share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 73.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 7,786.4 (down 1.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are KEC INTERNATIONAL (down 4.5%) and BHEL (down 2.8%).

Thermax (up 0.3%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Indiabulls Infra has moved up from Rs 51.7 to Rs 73.0, registering a gain of Rs 21.3 (up 41.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,431.4 to 7,786.4, registering a gain of 75.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 147.1%), Siemens (up 107.5%) and BHEL (up 94.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,053.5 (down 1.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 3.1%) and Infosys (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,076.7 (down 0.9%). Bajaj Auto and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 79,053.5, registering a gain of 15,178.5 points (up 23.8%).

Indiabulls Infra Financial Update...

Indiabulls Infra net profit grew 377.9% YoY to Rs 8,512 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,781 million a year ago. Net sales rose 69.5% to Rs 24,940 million during the period as against Rs 14,718 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Indiabulls Infra reported 248.3% increase in net profit to Rs 4,245 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,861 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 36.0% to Rs 56,096 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Indiabulls Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.2.
