Havells India share price has plunged 2% and is presently trading at Rs 1,871.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,664.7 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 1.2%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (down 0.3%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 9.5%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Havells India has moved up from Rs 1,291.1 to Rs 1,871.7, registering a gain of Rs 580.7 (up 45.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,324.6 to 58,664.7, registering a gain of 38.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 160.4%), Blue Star (up 110.5%) and Voltas (up 98.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,761.3 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.2%) and JSW Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and M&M.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,889.5 (up 0.1%). Ultratech Cement and Dr. Reddys are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,761.3, registering a gain of 15,791.3 points (up 25.1%).

Havells India Financial Update...

Havells India net profit grew 24.8% YoY to Rs 4,467 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,580 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.0% to Rs 54,420 million during the period as against Rs 48,592 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Havells India reported 18.6% increase in net profit to Rs 12,708 million compared to net profit of Rs 10,717 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.9% to Rs 185,900 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Havells India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 92.3.
