CRANEX. share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 111.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,539.4 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.8%) and SKF India (up 1.3%).

Finolex Cables (down 1.8%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CRANEX. has moved up from Rs 28.6 to Rs 111.3, registering a gain of Rs 82.7 (up 289.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,563.3 to 72,539.4, registering a gain of 83.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 255.9%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 182.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 150.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,747.7 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.1%) and JSW Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and M&M.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,879.3 . Ultratech Cement and Dr. Reddys are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,747.7, registering a gain of 15,777.7 points (up 25.1%).

CRANEX. Financial Update...

CRANEX. net profit grew 167.1% YoY to Rs 9 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.4% to Rs 212 million during the period as against Rs 161 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, CRANEX. reported 23.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 6 million compared to net profit of Rs 7 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 3.1% to Rs 414 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CRANEX., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 44.0.
