RAMA STEEL TUBES share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 13.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,517.0 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Jindal Steel (up 1.4%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 1.4%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 2.1%) and Vedanta (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, RAMA STEEL TUBES has moved up from Rs 11.1 to Rs 13.6, registering a gain of Rs 2.5 (up 22.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,292.0 to 31,517.0, registering a gain of 41.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 117.7%), Hindustan Zinc (up 90.3%) and Hindalco (up 52.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,279.6 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (down 1.7%) and Infosys (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,449.9 (down 0.1%). Cipla and Dr. Reddys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 80,279.6, registering a gain of 16,166.9 points (up 25.2%).

RAMA STEEL TUBES Financial Update...

RAMA STEEL TUBES net profit fell 3.6% YoY to Rs 62 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 64 million a year ago. Net sales declined 30.7% to Rs 2,166 million during the period as against Rs 3,125 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, RAMA STEEL TUBES reported 9.3% increase in net profit to Rs 300 million compared to net profit of Rs 274 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 21.7% to Rs 10,465 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of RAMA STEEL TUBES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 71.3.
