NCC Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.5%

NCC share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 292.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,833.4 (up 1.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (up 3.9%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 1.7%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 2.9%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 141.6 to Rs 292.7, registering a gain of Rs 151.1 (up 106.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,604.3 to 7,833.4, registering a gain of 70.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 124.6%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 111.3%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 97.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,444.7 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 5.1%) and ICICI Bank (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,474.3 (up 0.6%). SBI and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 80,444.7, registering a gain of 16,395.7 points (up 25.6%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 21.9% YoY to Rs 2,222 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,822 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.2% to Rs 55,280 million during the period as against Rs 43,804 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NCC reported 14.6% increase in net profit to Rs 7,404 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,462 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.0% to Rs 208,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.7.
