TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 235.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,479.4 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.8%) and SKF India (up 1.3%).

Finolex Cables (down 1.8%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 77.8 to Rs 235.7, registering a gain of Rs 157.9 (up 203.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,563.3 to 72,479.4, registering a gain of 83.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 255.8%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 182.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 150.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,729.6 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.3%) and JSW Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and M&M.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,889.3 (up 0.1%). Ultratech Cement and Grasim Industries are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,729.6, registering a gain of 15,759.6 points (up 25.0%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 178.6% YoY to Rs 417 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 150 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 11,446 million during the period as against Rs 8,353 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEXMACO RAIL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 115 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 22,433 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 97.9.
