SUZLON ENERGY share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 67.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 27,381.1 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are IOC (down 3.6%) and GAIL (down 2.3%).

Indraprastha Gas (up 2.7%) and ONGC are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SUZLON ENERGY has moved up from Rs 31.9 to Rs 67.3, registering a gain of Rs 35.4 (up 111.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,128.5 to 27,381.1, registering a gain of 51.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 132.5%), BPCL (up 81.2%) and GAIL (up 68.7%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,897.7 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 3.7%) and Maruti Suzuki (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,285.9 (down 0.2%). Tata Motors and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 79,897.7, registering a gain of 15,848.6 points (up 24.7%).

SUZLON ENERGY Financial Update...

SUZLON ENERGY net profit grew 199.6% YoY to Rs 3,023 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,009 million a year ago. Net sales rose 49.6% to Rs 20,216 million during the period as against Rs 13,510 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SUZLON ENERGY reported 77.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,604 million compared to net profit of Rs 28,873 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.4% to Rs 65,291 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SUZLON ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 106.6.
