ADANI WILMAR share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 337.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 21,294.1 (down 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are BOM.BURMAH (up 3.8%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 2.2%).

Hindustan Unilever (down 5.8%) and Godfrey Phillips (down 5.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ADANI WILMAR has moved up from Rs 324.2 to Rs 337.3, registering a gain of Rs 13.1 (up 4.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,541.7 to 21,294.1, registering a gain of 14.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 208.9%), BOM.BURMAH (up 96.7%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 92.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,065.2 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 5.8%) and Nestle (down 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,414.6 (down 0.1%). Hindustan Unilever and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,065.2, registering a gain of 15,493.3 points (up 24.0%).

ADANI WILMAR Financial Update...

ADANI WILMAR net profit grew 621.9% YoY to Rs 3,116 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 597 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.6% to Rs 141,686 million during the period as against Rs 129,281 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ADANI WILMAR reported 69.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,707 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,536 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.9% to Rs 512,616 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ADANI WILMAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 80.9.
