BOMBAY WIRE ROPES share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 63.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,601.7 .

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (down 3.9%) and NMDC (down 0.6%).

Hindustan Zinc (up 2.1%) and Jindal Steel (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers today.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,401.2 (down 0.1%). Hindustan Unilever and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,062.6, registering a gain of 15,490.7 points (up 24.0%).

BOMBAY WIRE ROPES net profit fell 67.9% YoY to Rs -1 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales declined 100.0% to Rs 0 million during the period as against Rs 0 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, BOMBAY WIRE ROPES reported 5.7% increase in net profit to Rs -3 million compared to net loss of Rs 3 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 100.0% to Rs 0 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BOMBAY WIRE ROPES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -93.2.
